Northwestern's prospects for a successful track team this year are very promising. Sandefur is out working hard with the various weights. Huffman and Smithson are out for the track and are both very fast men. There are a large number of lesser lights, who are also showing much fform and who promise to become worthy defenders of N.S.N.

Track isn Northwestern seems to have taken on new life. This year Northwestern will have a large number of entries in the state meet, and it is their intention to carry off the highest honors. The present prospects are far greater than usual and some records will have to be smashed if Northwestern fails to carry off the honors which she is going after at the state meet this year.
